The Czech Jewel project is a long-term author's initiative aimed at supporting Czech traditions, cultural identity and contemporary artistic crafts.
Its basic idea is to transform real natural materials, which are an inseparable part of the Czech landscape, history and mentality, into original jewelry made of precious metals.
Each part of the project is based on authentic plants, symbols, personalities or stories associated with the Czech lands and transforms them into a contemporary artistic jewelry using the unique technology of electroforming. The linden tree, the Rožmberk rose, hops, grapevines, nuts from Czech fairy tales or four-leaf clovers are not just decorative motifs in the project. They are carriers of stories, values and traditions that have shaped Czech culture for generations. Each piece of jewelry thus represents a small artistic testimony of where we come from and what unites us.

The first part is based on the symbols of the linden tree as the Czech national tree, Czech precious stones (moldavite, garnet, tawny) and historical goldsmithing techniques.
The key piece of the project is the Czech Heart brooch, made from a galvanoplasticly silver-plated and partially gold-plated real linden leaf. The collection has already been supported by the city of Český Krumlov. Each piece of jewelry from the Czech Heart edition is equipped with a plaque with the logo of the city, which symbolically stands at its birth. Brooches and pendants in the shape of a linden heart have also become a commemorative gift for important guests visiting Český Krumlov - as a reminder of Czech traditions and this historic city. The collection was successfully presented at international exhibitions, including GEMWORLD Munich 2025, where it represented contemporary Czech designer jewelry.

The second part of the project is dedicated to the figure of Perchta of Rožmberk
– one of the most famous women in Czech history, surrounded by legends, strength and inner suffering.
Her fate, connected to the Rožmberk family, still resonates today as a symbol of female courage, perseverance and hidden dignity.
The main motif of the jewelry is a five-petalled red rose – the coat of arms of the Rožmberk family.
In this interpretation, it is not just a heraldic symbol, but a living rosehip flower carrying layers of meaning: beauty and thorns, love and pain, fragility and strength. Just like the story of Perchta. The jewelry is created as a tribute not only to one woman, but also to deeper themes – the position of women in history, inner freedom and the transformation of suffering into strength.

The third part, Five Roses of the Vítkovci, is inspired by the history of South Bohemia and the legacy of the powerful Vítkovci family. The five unique pieces of jewelry feature five colorful roses symbolizing individual branches of the family, which have shaped the history of South Bohemia for centuries.

The upcoming fourth part of the project will be dedicated to Czech hops – a plant that has contributed to the world-renowned reputation of Czech brewing for centuries. Hops represents a combination of human labor, agricultural tradition, and craftsmanship. The collection will pay tribute to generations of growers and commemorate the importance of this unique Czech cultural heritage.

The fifth part will be inspired by the grapevine and the tradition of Czech and Moravian winemaking.
The motif of grape leaves, grapes, and vines will symbolize the landscape, patience, maturation, and the connection between man and nature. The collection will build on the traditions of wine-growing regions and commemorate the cultural wealth that has been created in the Czech lands for centuries.

In the future, the project also includes other symbols of Czech culture and landscape – for example, the motif of magic nuts known from Czech fairy tales or the four-leaf clover as a symbol of luck.
The long-term goal of the project is to create a representative collection of designer jewelry that will tell the story of the Czech Republic at home and abroad through contemporary craftsmanship.
